Description: "This powerful brightening oil is formulated with natural ingredients ranging from rosehip seed oil to kiwi seed oil to improve skins texture, fade dark marks and reveals brighter, glowing more youthful skin." - Back To Basic's site
Ingredients: Organic rosehip oil, Organic Grapeseed oil, Seabuckthorn berry oil, Organic Camellia oil, Organic Chia seed oil, Jojoba oil, Tomato seed oil, Kiwi seed oil
How To Use? I follow the Josh Rosebrook technique where you spritz your face with your toner or face mist and then apply a few drops to your forehead, cheeks, chin, and nose. Then get an even coating all over the face and massage.
Length of use? This little bottle lasted me from the end of June to the end of September!
My Experience: I used it morning and night with my moisturizer. First off, I was pleased with how well it absorbed. I've used face oils in the past where they just kind of sit on your skin (I've since become wiser about how to choose facial oils). But this one absorbed quite nicely. This is in no part due to the rosehip, grapeseed, and camelia oils which are known for their absorption speeds. (Check out that article for learning info on oils! Very informative and organized!) It played really nicely with my moisturizer and bb cream which is a huge A+ from me. I don't use face powders, so my moisturizers and oils need to absorb nicely to work with my bb cream. I don't think it did much brightening and as for helping to fade dark marks, I can't speak to that. But as a lightweight, moisturizing facial oil I think it's very solid. It did a great job of giving my skin a dewiness without the shiny forehead.
Overall: This is a great buy if you are looking for a lightweight moisturizing oil that doesn't cost you an arm and a leg. It's non-greasy and absorbs wonderfully. Give this indie brand a look if you are in the market for a facial oil.
